Privacy Policy
Effective date: 30 April 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how getmoreinterviews.ai (the service, "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services.
We are operated from India and act as a Data Fiduciary within the meaning of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India). The service is currently in invite-only beta.
1. Information we collect
You give us, or we collect on your behalf to run the service:
- Account information: your name, email address, and a hashed password.
- Resume: the PDF you upload, plus a parsed text summary of it.
- LinkedIn URL and the public background data we infer from it.
- Job-search preferences: the titles, locations, experience level, company size, and other criteria you select.
- Feedback signals: the jobs you swipe yes or no on, used to improve scoring.
- Gmail authorisation tokens: if you connect Gmail, we store a refresh token (encrypted at rest) so we can send emails on your behalf.
- Email content and metadata: drafts we generate, emails actually sent (subject, body, recipient), timestamps, message identifiers, replies, and bounce signals.
- Technical data: session cookies, IP address, browser type, and timestamps required to keep the service running.
2. How we use your information
- Match you with relevant publicly listed jobs.
- Generate personalised cold-outreach emails using AI services.
- Send those emails from your Gmail account on the schedule you approve.
- Track replies, follow-ups, and bounces in the email threads we created on your behalf.
- Maintain account security, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
- Communicate with you about your account (verification, important updates, replies to support requests).
We do not use your data to advertise to you or to train third-party AI models. We do not sell your data.
3. Third parties we work with
We rely on a small set of vendors to deliver the service. We share only the data each vendor needs for its specific function. We describe them by category to keep our supply chain confidential. A specific list of current sub-processors is available on written request.
- Google (Gmail API):named explicitly because you authorise us via Google's OAuth. The specific Gmail OAuth scopes we request are:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.compose - to create personalised email drafts in your Gmail account that you review before sending.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send - to send the drafts you have approved, on the schedule you have chosen, from your own Gmail address.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly - to detect replies and bounces only on threads we created on your behalf, so we can stop scheduled follow-ups when you receive a reply.
- AI service providers to analyse your resume content and generate personalised email drafts.
- Data enrichment providers to identify professional contacts at the companies you target.
- Job-listing aggregators to source publicly listed roles matching your preferences.
- Email infrastructure providers to deliver transactional email from us to you (verification codes, account notifications).
- Cloud hosting and storage providers to run our application and store the files you upload.
- Error tracking and observability providers to capture application errors. Resume content and email bodies are not sent to these providers.
We never authorise our vendors to use your data for their own purposes, advertising, or model training.
Compliance with Google API Services User Data Policy
getmoreinterviews.ai's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We do not use Gmail data for advertising, or to develop, improve, or train generalised or non-personalised AI/ML models.
- We do not sell Gmail data.
- We do not transfer Gmail data to third parties except (a) to provide or improve user-facing features that are prominent in the application's user interface, (b) for security purposes such as investigating abuse, (c) to comply with applicable law, or (d) as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with your explicit consent.
- We do not allow humans to read Gmail data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, the data is necessary to investigate abuse or security incidents, or it is required by law.
4. Your rights and choices
As a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (India), and to the extent applicable under other privacy laws, you have the following rights. The contact address at the bottom of this policy is the mechanism for exercising them.
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: update most account details directly in the app, or request corrections by email.
- Erasure: request deletion of your account and associated personal data. We delete within 30 days of receiving the request, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.
- Withdraw consent: disconnect Gmail at any time from inside the app. This immediately revokes our OAuth access and stops all future email activity from us on your behalf.
- Grievance redressal: raise any concern about how your data is handled by emailing the address at the bottom of this policy. We will respond within the timelines required by law.
- Nominate: nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity, as provided under §14 of the DPDP Act.
- Sub-processor list: request the current specific list of vendors we use.
5. Data retention
We retain account data while your account is active. After you request deletion, data is removed within 30 days. Backups may persist for an additional 60 days before they are overwritten. Aggregate, fully de-identified statistics may be retained beyond that window.
6. Security
We use industry-standard practices: HTTPS in transit, hashed passwords, encrypted Gmail refresh tokens at rest, restricted access to production systems, and routine error monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection. If we learn of a personal data breach affecting your data, we will notify you and, where required by law, the relevant regulatory authority (including the Data Protection Board of India where the DPDP Act applies), without undue delay.
7. Cookies
We use a single first-party authentication cookie (HTTP-only, marked Secure in production) to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
8. Children
The service is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
9. International users
The service operates from India and uses cloud providers hosted in multiple regions. By using the service, you consent to your data being processed in jurisdictions outside your home country, including India and the United States.
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Where required by applicable data protection law, we will obtain fresh consent before processing your data in a new way. Non-material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
11. Contact us
For privacy questions, deletion requests, or to request the current sub-processor list, email meghna@getmoreinterviews.ai.
